About Us
One the demand from the public, in 1993 –1994 SMT. GANGAMMA HOMBEGOWDA pre university composite COLLEGE was started with the strength of 43 students, with the course, arts and commerce and in 2001-02 Science was introduced.
In 2006, the Examination centre for 2nd PUC was granted by the Karnataka Education department and in 2008-09 our College was graded as ‘ A ‘ category .In 2012 PU sections came under ‘Grant in Aid ‘. With the increase of strength and demand we introduced Computer Science section with Commerce

What is the schedule of tests and exams?
July : 1st test -50 marks
August – 1 midterm exam for 100 marks
September -2nd test -50 marks
November -2nd midterm exam
December – January : 3-4 preparatory exams
February and march : main exams ( exam dates as per government given)
4 : Assignments as per subjects.
Are facilities like computers, library and labs provided?
Computer lab, library , mid day meals ,awareness programs for girls , counselling every Tuesdays, BBMP health check up free
What is student intake capacity?
Student intake capacity is 600 pupils
Criteria for joining!
The admission process will start soon after SSLC results. The student must have secured more than 50% in SSLC examination to be eligible for admission.
Application forms should be collected from college and have to be completed only by uploading the self-attested copies of the following .
- 6 nos recent passport size photograph in formal dress.
- Provisional copy of SSLC Marks Card.
- Caste /Category certificate, if applicable.
- Sports certificate /learning disability certificate / physically challenged certificate ,if applicable.
- Income certificate
- Aadhaar Card/ copy of bank details
